                                             Broad-spectrum antibiotic - Wikipedia

Antibiotics inhibit the growth of bacteria, fungus vand parasites. In the beginning, the antibiotics were isolated from living organisms. For example, penicillin was isolated from the fungus penicillium and streptomycin from the bacteria Streptomyces. The more modern antibiotics are being chemically synthesised. There are few or no side effects from antibiotcs and at the same time they are highly effective. The antibiotics to be used a particular infection depends on three factors: the location of the infection in the body, the ability of the antibiotic to reach the site of infection and its effectiveness in overcoming the infection. An antibiotic can cure the infection in two ways. It can directly destroy the bacteria causing the infection or it can prevent the bacteria from multiplying further. The antibiotics can be administered topically, orally or intravenously. They are administered topically in the case of eye or skin infections. In case of a serve infection the antibiotics are administered intravenously.

Why are tides formed?

What is Tides, why it occur and how it is important for human lifetidal energy | National Geographic Society

Tides are caused due to the gravitational pull of the moon on the water in the oceans and seas. These occur at periodic intervals of times. The pull of the moon causes a huge swell of water to rise. This is known as a high tide. As the effect of the moon wanes, the water recedes and a low tide occurs. As the Earth spins on its axis, different oceans come under the effect of the gravitational pull of the Moon at different times. Thus, the high and night in the seas and oceans. Tides are of two different types- the spring tides and the neap tides. Spring tide occurs on new or full moon day when the oceans experience the combined gravitational pull of the sun and the moon. The high tides arte expectedly high tides are exceptionally high and low tides Sun and Moon are at right angles to each other, i.e., on quarter moon days.

The electric bulb is a glass bulb fitted with a filament that glows when heated by electricity. Thomas Alva Edison invented the light bulb. The light bulb consists of a glass bulb. It is fitted with a filament made of tungsten. The filament is heated to candescence by passing an electric current through it the glass bulb is filled with a noble gas that prevent the filament from melting and  then evaporating. Many attempts were made to make a bulb before Edison succeeded. The lifespan of the bulb was however approximately 40 hours. Edison conducted many experiments to extend the lifespan of the filament.      Joint are important why?Why Joint and Cartilage Recovery is so Important?

What is glucosamine and why is it important for joint health? - Nature's Own Australia

Joints are located where two bones are joined together. They along with muscles together help the bones to move. The joints protect the bones from damaging each other while moving. The immovable joint, called sutures, hold the bones of our skull together. In movable joints, the ends of the bones that move over one another are covered with a cartilage. The cartilage helps the joints to move easily and protect the bones from sudden shocks. The hinge joint allows movement in only one direction. Knee, elbow and finger joints are hinge joints. The pivots and gliding joints is found between the skull and spine. It allows the head to move sideways, upwards and downwards. The ball and socket joint are found in the shoulder and the pelvis. The hands and legs can swing freely, while the rest of the body remains perfectly still.
