The Jupiter, satern, Uranus, and Neptune known as the ‘gas giants’
The solar system consist of eight
planets. Of these, the four, i.e, mercury, venus, earth and mars, are
terrestrial planets. They all have a solid surface crust and core. Jupiter,
satern, Uranus and Neptune are all gaseous planets. Jupiter is made of hydrogen
and helium. It is also composed of hydrogen and helium. It also has ice os
ammonia, ice of methane and water ice. It
has hot, solid inner core made of iron and rocky material. The inner core is
surrounded by the outer core that is made up of ammonia, methane and water. The
outer core has a layer of thick liquid hydrogen and helium around it. Uranus is
a gaseous planet composed of various gases and ice. It has no solid surface. Neptune
is the other most gaseous planet with a rocky core.
