Why do animals have tail?
Most of the animals walk on all four limbs. They do not have any limbs free to perform other functions. Therefore, the tails of the animals carry out many of these functions. The tail helps them to find direction, to move forward, to chase away the flies and to duct off their bodies, to grasp things and to add beauty in some of the cases. Early humans also had tails but it slowly disappeared as they evolved and stooped using it.
