FACT
The Saturn planet is the dense planet in our solar planet
Saturn is one of the remarkable and beautiful
planets. This is due to its rings. These rings were discovered by Galileo
Galilei. They consist of thousands of narrow ringlets made of pieces of ice and
rock. Saturn is one of the four gas giants of the solar system. It is the
second largest planet of the solar system. It is made up of 93.7% hydrogen and
6.3% helium. Its specific gravity (ratio of density of a substance to the
density of water) is 0.69 gm/cm3, i.e., it is less dense than water.
It has a core of rock and ice enveloped in a laye of metallic hydrogen. The wind
speeds on Saturn can reach up to 1,800 km/h. it is known to have sixty moons.
