Why are bacterial diseases different from viral disease?

Disease is the sickness of body and mind. Disease can be infectious or non-infectious. The cause of disease can be internal or external. The external cause can include viruses, bacteria, malnutrition, toxins and harmful radiation. Bacterial diseases are caused by single-called organisms called bacteria. They enter the body through contaminated food and water or due to contact with an infectious person or unhygienic places. They emit toxins and waste into the human body. All bacteria do not cause disease. Those that cause diseases are called pathogenic bacteria. Common bacterial diseases are pneumonia, ear, throat and eye infection, and tuberculosis, etc. viral disease are caused by viruses smaller than the bacteria.

Viruses cannot survive outside the host’s body.  They produce after they enter the body. The common viral diseases are chickenpox, rubella, measles, common cold, etc. They spread through contact with bodily fluid of the infected person. Antiviral drugs and injections are used to treat viral disease.
