Why do we the need nutrients
Nutrition
is the process of taking in and utilizing food substance for growth, energy and
immunity. Digestion is a chemical process through which the nutrient
that we take in are utilized by the body. A balanced diet provides all the nutrients
required by the body in the correct amount. Proper nutrient, exercise and rest are
necessary for the healthy growth of the body . The food provided helps the body
to grow as well as helps in the repair of the wear and tear of the body. The food
ingested also found in a wide variety of foods. They are divided into various food
groups such as follows: carbohydrates, proteins, fats, vitamins and minerals.
