The Saturn planet is the dense planet in our solar planet
Saturn is one of the remarkable and beautiful
planets. This is due to its rings. These rings were discovered by Galileo
Galilei. They consist of thousands of narrow ringlets made of pieces of ice and
rock. Saturn is one of the four gas giants of the solar system. It is the
second largest planet of the solar system. It is made up of 93.7% hydrogen and
6.3% helium. Its specific gravity (ratio of density of a substance to the
density of water) is 0.69 gm/cm3, i.e., it is less dense than water.
It has a core of rock and ice enveloped in a laye of metallic hydrogen. The wind
speeds on Saturn can reach up to 1,800 km/h. it is known to have sixty moons.
SEAWATER ARE SALTY
Oceans are large water bodies that cover 70% of the earth’s
surface. They also contain 97% of the water. The rivers of the earth fall into
the oceans. However, the river water fall into the oceans. However, the river
water is not salty. But these rivers carry minerals and salts that have been
dissolved into them when these were eroded from the mountain sides from where
the rivers have passed. This is a continuous process. The oceans water itself
has many minerals and organic matter dissolved in them. Element like chorine,
sodium, sulphur, magnesium, calcium and potassium are present in the ocean
water. These add to the salinity of the water.

Why is insulin required by the body
Insulin and Glucagons are hormones that regulates the level of
glucose in the blood. Insulin is secreted by the pancreas, an endocrine gland
located in the abdomen. Pancreas is made up of two types of tissue: exocrine
and endocrine. The endocrine tissue consists of specialised tissue known as the
islets of Langerhans that produce insulin and glucagons. The pancreas secretes
insulin in small amounts, but when there is a rise in the blood glucose level
the amount of secretion increases to control it. On the other hand, glucagons
are secreated when the sugar level in the blood is low. It helps to increase
the sugar level in the blood.
