There is a large amount of heat deep down in the earth’s mentle.

The rocks in this layer of earth are slowly melted due to this heat and a thick flowing substance called MAGMA is formed . 

Magma that has erupted is called lava . 

Effusive eruptions – magma rises through the surface and flows out of the volcano as a viscous liquid called lava.

 Explosive eruptions – magma is torn apart as it rises and reaches the surface in pieces known as pyroclasts. .

 Molten magma travels up the chambers in the volcano and when rises to its surface , the volcano erupts .

·       Azim Premji is currently the 3^rd wealthiest Indian and 41^st richest person in the world with a personal wealth of $17.2 billion in 2013. He was born on July 24, 1945. While pursuing Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, USA, he was called upon to handle the family business due to the sudden demise of his father. Azim  Premji took over the reins of family business in 1966 at the age of 21.

·       Started as a vegetable oil trading company in 1947 vfrom an old mil founded by Azim Premji father. He reponitioned it and transformed Wipro into a consumer goods company that produced hydrogenated cooking oil/fat. At that time, it was valued at $2 million. In 1977, when IBM was asked to leave India, Wipro entered in the information technology sector.

·       In 1980, Wipro moved into software development and started developing customized software packages for their hardware customers. As of September 2013, total assests of Wipro were estimated at US $9.08 billion with an employee strength of 1,47,216. In 2011, he has been awarded PADMA VIBHUSHAN, the second highest civilian award by the Government of India.
