Independence Day is celebrate the First War of Independence of 1857, the Government of India Act 1858 led the British Crown to assume direct control of India. In the decades following related annually on 15 August as a national holiday. the United Kingdom on 15 August 1947, the day when the provisions of the Indian Independence Act 1947, Millions of Muslim, Sikh and Hindu refugees trekked the newly drawn borders in the months surrounding independence.[19] In Punjab, where the borders divided the Sikh regions in halves, massive bloodshed followed; in Bengal and Bihar, where Mahatma Gandhi's presence assuaged communal tempers, the violence was mitigated. In all, between 250,000 and 1,000,000 people on both sides of the new borders died in the violence. on this day India got freedom after a long struggle with the English with the English under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. Besides great leaders common people also took part in freedom struggle. Thus 15th of August is a historic day for the Indians.

It has special meaning for all the people of the country. It reminds us of the sacrifice and suffering that freedom fighters had to face for winning freedom. Towards the end of the 19th century the desire for freedom found its expression in the Indian National Congress. When Mahatma Gandhi appeared on the scene, this expression became active. He filled a scene of patriotism into the hearts of the Indians people. A host of great men like Madan Mohan Malviya, Rajendra Prasad, Jawaharlal Nehru Maulana Azad, Vallabh Bhai Patel, Subhash Chandra Bose and Jai Prakash  Narayan Joined Gandhiji. The result was that 20th century saw the great struggle for freedom. The non violent non-cooperation movement started by Gandhi  shook the foundation of the British rule in India. The bruisers tried every means to suppress the movement but vain. All the leaders including Gandhiji were sent to jail may times. At last Gandhi ji  started the ‘Quit India Movement’ in 1942. The whole country was in the revolution beginning of freedom in India.

It celebrates the date in 1947 when the Indian Independence Act came into effect, which established India and Pakistan as separate countries, no longer under British imperialist rule. (In Pakistan, Independence Day is celebrated on August 14th.

The 15th august is celebrated with great joy and pride every years as the independence day. The national flag is hoisted on all the government and private buildings of the country. Due respect is shown to the flag by way of military and mass salute. At the red fort, special arrangements are made for its celebration. Here the prime minister os India unfurls the flag.

The solar system consist of eight planets. Of these, the four, i.e, mercury, venus, earth and mars, are terrestrial planets. They all have a solid surface crust and core. Jupiter, satern, Uranus and Neptune are all gaseous planets. Jupiter is made of hydrogen and helium. It is also composed of hydrogen and helium. It also has ice os ammonia, ice  of methane and water ice. It has hot, solid inner core made of iron and rocky material. The inner core is surrounded by the outer core that is made up of ammonia, methane and water. The outer core has a layer of thick liquid hydrogen and helium around it. Uranus is a gaseous planet composed of various gases and ice. It has no solid surface. Neptune is the other most gaseous planet with a rocky core.

Anton von leeuwenhoek  was the first person to observe blood, insects etc., under a simple microscope. He described cells and bacteria as seen under a microscope. His microscope was a simple device that used only one lens. The body of the microscope was made of a rass plate. The lens was mounted on a tiny hole in the plate. Leeuwenhoek mounted the specimen on a pin in front of the lens. The microscope was 3-4 inches long. It looked like a modern day magnifying lens. He made several pioneering studies in the field of the life science using this microscope and made 500 microscope during his lifetime. The modern microscope is a very sophisticated instrument that can magnify and give very sharp images. It is known as the compound microscope and uses three lenses: the objective, the eyepiece and the field lens.

The electric bulb is a glass bulb fitted with a filament that glows when heated by electricity. Thomas alva Edison invented the light bulb.The light bulb consist of a glass bulb.It is a fitted with a filament made of tungsten. The filament is heated to incandescence by passing an electric current through it. The glass bulb is filled with a noble gas that prevent the filament from melting and then evaporating. Many attempts were made to make a bulb before Edison succeeded. The lifespan of the bulb was however approximately 40 hours. Edison conducted many experiment to extend the lifespan of the filament. He finally succeeded in December 1879.
